Smoked beef

with chargrilled butternut and creamy feta

  • 12 Slices of thinly smoked beef
  • 200g creamy feta cheese
  • 200g Char grilled butternut
  • 80g Wild rocket to garnish
  • 100ml Lemon and garlic dressing
  • Lemon and garlic dressing
  • 50g Brown sugar
  • 10g Himalayan pink salt
  • 200ml olive or sunflower oil
  • 2 Cloves of finely chopped garlic
  • 100 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest


  • Using a cast iron griddle pan mark the butternut till cooked.
  • Make a lemon and garlic dressing buy dissolving the salt sugar and lemon juice together and then add the olive oil and whisk till the together until the dressing has completely emulsified.
  • Plate the smoked beef top with Feta angd char grilled butternut and rocket and drizzle with the lemon and garlic dressing
