Chocolate shots

An easy and delicious recipe.

  • 80g Coco powder

  • 100g sugar

  • 4 egg yolks

  • 250ml cream

  • 50g melted milk chocolate

  • 15 Orange segments

  • 5 Strawberries

  • 4 sprigs of mint


  • Heat the milk and cream in a small pot.
  • Whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until the mixture turns pale.
  • Add this to the heated milk stirring all the time on a low heat or preferably over a bain marie until the mixture starts to thicken then add the chocolate and stir until it melts.
  • Pour the mixture of equal measurements into the glasses and refrigerate.
  • Once the dessert has set using the flat of a cooks knife scrape some white chocolate to top the desserts.
  • Top with a strawberry and mint sprig to garnish and dust with edible gold dust.
