Pan Fried prawns

A taste to die for

  • 6 x L1 Argentinian Prawns (or 16/20)

  • 225g of butter

  • 200ml lemon juice (note mix your lemon juice 50/50 with water otherwise the lemon juice will overpower the prawn and the other spices), so 100ml water and 100ml fresh squeezed lemon juice.

  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic

  • 3 or 4 table spoons of chopped parsley

  • 1 table spoon chopped coriander

  • 2 table spoons of fish spice, I mix my own but you can buy a decent fish spice at almost any supper market or spice shop.

Cooking The Prawns:

  • Place your prawns into a pan over medium to high heat add your lemon juice into the pan and let the prawns cook in the lemon juice, it will soften the meat nicely and also help with flavor.
  • Add your butter, garlic and spices as soon as your lemon juice starts to boil.
  • Before the butter is a 100% melted take your pan off the stove, whilst doing so keep stirring the prawns in the sauce then onto your plate.
